I know that Democrats also get caught with their pants down, but the balance seems to be heavily tipped toward the Republican party, and has been for years. I don’t care so much that he was screwing around. I care that he was screwing around with a lobbyist for an energy company, and that he’s the vice chair of the Committee on Utilities & Commerce.
